Brentwood Court is a residential gated development on a 14 acre site located at Chaguanas Trinidad. The development encompasses 220 multi-family units of various townhouse configurations. The development had already commenced construction prior to Alvair’s engagement. The initial engineering design for the townhouse units presented some construction challenges, for the developer. Alvair was engaged to re-engineer the duplex unit, quad-unit and 5 unit townhouse, to resolve the construction challenges, and provide a value-engineered solution to the developer.

Alvair developed an integrated BIM model of the Quad unit’s existing architectural, structural, and MEP design and performed a clash detection analysis. Where coordination clashes in adequate detailing was encountered Alvair re-engineered the system to resolve the design clashes and deficiencies.

Alvair re-engineered the structural and MEP designs of the duplex and 5 unit townhouses to provide a value-engineered solution to the developer, which eliminated some of the construction challenges experienced on earlier constructed units
