Project Overviewx

The Client was desirous of expanding their seafood and meat supply business with a centralized processing, cold storage, and distribution facility.
Alvair was commissioned to develop the design brief and to provide architectural, structural, MEP, and civil engineering services for the new facility.

 

 

Services Performedx

Design Brief development with food industry SME (Subject Matter Expert)
Architectural design including process work flows
Structural engineering designs of building portal frame, thermally insulated floor slabs, walls, ceilings and roof and site retaining walls
Civil design including site drainage, green spaces and surface grading.
Mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) design, including package HVAC systems, wastewater collection and treatment systems, fire water and potable water pump system, fire protection and suppression systems, security surveillance systems and HV and LV electrical and lighting.
Quantity surveying services with development of BOQ packages and cost estimates.
